A lot has happened today. Normally I would talk about it, but tonight I simply want to savor the moment and say… THANK YOU!

I can’t thank you enough Lord Jesus, but let these words from my heart touch Yours.

Last March 14, I went to the final wake of my Kuya Jhayr’s Inang. I was blessed to take part in such a memorable, humbling, and life-changing Necrological Service. It wasn’t a night of regrets, heartaches, and disappointments. Yes, tears (and a lot of them) were shed, but tonight’s service was a celebration of the victorious 94 years of Inang’s life. It was a humbling and life-changing experience because the family remembered how Inang made an impact to her 132 children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and in-laws. Her wisdom and passion for Jesus were carried over from one generation to another. Praise the Lord for Inang’s meaningful and victorious life!

I thought I’d go home empty-handed, but God didn’t disappoint. He gave me one of the crucial questions in life:

WHAT IMPACT DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE ON…your family? friends? community? country? earth? and eternity? WHAT LEGACY DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE?

I pray that you’ll choose to make an impact that will echo a sweet melody in eternity. God bless you!

What are your battles in life? Studies? Work? Relationships? Attitudes? Sin?

Fear not, the battle is not ours but GOD’s. Surrender your battle to Jesus for He has overcome the world. Jesus is our victory! God richly bless you!

Trust. It can’t be half-hearted. Either it is full trust or it is clouded with suspicion. So as we face the everyday challenges of life, or as we look for answers in deep and difficult problems, let’s put our full trust in the LORD. Let’s ask for his wisdom and guidance as we make our choices. Let’s give him praise for the good in our life and seek his blessing for the days ahead. Why? Because he longs to bless us with life, both now, and forevermore.

To my finals and sicknesses, see that? My GOD is greater! I put my faith in Him.
